Founder
Meet Tina Serfontein.
Tina built Aqua Ultra Fitness to share what aqua rebounding did for her — a workout that's gentle on the body and serious on results. Every class is designed and led by her, from beginner-friendly flows to high-energy interval sets.
Tina is a qualified LTS swimming teacher (since 2019), Aqua Zumba and Zumba Instructor as well as a STRONG (ZIN) trainer. She founded Aqua Ultra Fitness Pty Ltd in 2022. She's here to set you up for complete success and guide you every step of the way. Let's shape a healthier version of you!

What is aqua rebounding?
Aqua rebounding is a low-impact workout performed on a mini-trampoline (rebounder) submerged in a pool. The water adds 800× the resistance of air while cushioning every landing — so you get strong, high-energy cardio with almost no joint stress.
Do I need to be fit to start?
Not at all. Aqua Ultra Fitness classes are 100% beginner-friendly. Water supports your body weight and modifications are cued throughout — most members feel stronger within four weeks.
What do I need to start aqua rebounding at home?
You'll need an aqua rebounder (we sell pool-rated ones), a chest-deep pool, a swimsuit and a device to stream from. A waterproof speaker is a nice extra. That's it.
Is aqua rebounding good for joints, knees and back pain?
Yes — water cushions every landing, reducing joint impact by up to 80%. It's ideal for older adults, people rebuilding after injury, and anyone protecting their knees, hips or spine.
