Our biggest splash of the year — hours in the water, hearts wide open, and a whole community moving together for a cause. Sunday 9 August 2026.
An Aquathon is exactly what it sounds like — a marathon in the pool. Our members, instructors, families and friends take to the water back-to-back, class after class, cheering each other on from the first warm-up to the very last cool-down. It is loud, it is joyful, and it always ends with someone in tears (the good kind).
We have hosted more than one Aquathon over the years, but this year's event is especially close to our heart — every length swum and every rand raised goes straight back into the causes and people we stand behind.
An event like this simply does not happen without generous people behind it. To every business, sponsor, volunteer and member who gave time, prizes, product or plain old elbow grease — thank you. You turned an idea into a day our whole Aqua family will remember.

We are shining the spotlight on Palesa, a beloved and longstanding member of the Aqua Ultra Fitness family. Since joining us in 2021, she has brought nothing but positivity, dedication, and encouragement to every class.
Palesa is a wonderful mom and a highly qualified, skilled woman who continually inspires everyone around her. Wherever she goes, she spreads the word about our aqua classes — her enthusiasm and support truly mean the world to us.

Huge congratulations to instructor Luca and his family on the arrival of their baby boy, Benyamin. We are overjoyed to hear that both mom and baby are healthy and doing well.
Our beautiful Benyamin Heskes Viljoen was born on 1 July 2026, weighing a healthy 3.85 kg. Luca and Ardin are over the moon with their perfect little boy, and they cannot thank everyone enough for the love and support shown during this special time.
As soon as Benyamin is settled into his routine, they promise to bring him to the pool to meet all his aqua aunties and uncles. Much love from Luca, Ardin and Benyamin.

We honour the life of Mariette Benn, a cherished member of our Aqua Ultra Fitness family. Her kindness, warmth, and presence in our classes will never be forgotten.
Our hearts go out to Rodney, Mariette's husband, during this difficult time. We are deeply grateful for the moments we shared with both of them at Aqua Ultra Fitness, and we hold those memories close.
Gone but not forgotten, always Aqua Family to us — you are missed, Mariette.
Di Plumridge turned a young 86 in 2026 — our oldest Aqua Fitness member.
Born in Pretoria, she has 4 grandchildren and is moving away with her daughter. We will miss her dearly in class.
She started class with us in March 2023. She amazed us all with what she could do in class, but more so with her beautiful personality.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to all our current Aqua Ultra Fitness members who are currently battling cancer. We see your courage, your resilience, and your fighting spirit — and we are holding you close in our hearts.
You are not walking this road alone. The entire Aqua family is behind you, sending love, strength, and healing energy your way.

Hy het sy medikasie aangepas en ek Kan sien hy is besig met vordering

For most matric learners, the matric dance is a once-in-a-lifetime evening filled with excitement, laughter, and memories that last forever. Sadly, for some, financial hardship makes this special night feel impossible.
The Rawson Sisters from Rawson Properties Melkbosstrand are proud to support The Princess Project — an initiative dedicated to ensuring deserving matric learners can experience their matric dance with confidence, dignity, and joy.
We're looking for donations of matric dance dresses, suits and jackets, shoes, handbags, jewellery, hair accessories, and any formal wear in excellent condition. Every donation tells a young person: "You matter. You deserve this moment."
